Judge Dismisses Fracking Lease Case, Says Fraud Not Shown

(December 1, 2015, 11:49 AM EST) -- COLUMBUS, Ohio — A federal judge in Ohio on Nov. 25 dismissed a lawsuit brought by Ohio residents who contended that a watershed conservancy district improperly entered into leases allowing hydraulic fracturing to take place on state lands, ruling that fraud was not shown because the lease transactions were public knowledge (United States of America ex rel.
