Mealey's (June 28, 2019, 1:29 PM EDT) -- NEW ORLEANS — The Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on June 25 granted rehearing in a case in which it had asked the Louisiana Supreme Court to weigh in on whether the state’s nonresident attachment statute is broad enough to include a creditor’s action to compel arbitration where the goal of the case is to obtain a money judgment against a debtor; the Fifth Circuit withdrew its previous opinion and vacated and remanded the case (Stemcor USA Incorporated v.
