Mealey's (May 1, 2019, 1:18 PM EDT) -- SALT LAKE CITY — A disability insurer wrongfully denied a claim for long-term disability benefits because the claimant was still considered an employee of the company when his disability arose, a Utah federal judge said April 29 in finding that the insurer incorrectly determined that the employee was no longer insured under the company’s disability plan (David G.
