Texas Commission: Evidence ‘Lacking’ Regarding Fracking Injection And Earthquakes

(November 9, 2015, 10:49 AM EST) -- AUSTIN, Texas — The Railroad Commission of Texas (RCT) on Nov. 3 unanimously voted to maintain the waste water disposal permits of two hydraulic fracturing companies following a recommendation by RCT examiners who said evidence was “lacking” with regard to claims that the injection of waste water at two well sites in the state caused earthquakes.
