Tennessee Federal Judge: Medical Evidence Supports Insurer’s Denial Of Benefits
(November 5, 2015, 11:52 AM EST) -- JACKSON, Tenn. — A Tennessee federal judge on Oct. 13 determined that a disability insurer did not wrongfully terminate and, later, deny claims for disability benefits because the claimant failed to submit medical evidence supporting her claims (Patricia Flatt v. Aetna Life Insurance Company of Hartford, Conn., et al., No. 14-1060, W.D. Tenn.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 138870).
