9th Circuit: Hearing Representative Was Exempt From Overtime Pay
(November 5, 2015, 11:29 AM EST) -- PASADENA, Calif. — A hearing representative was properly classified as an administrative employee and was exempt from receiving overtime pay, the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled Oct. 22, affirming a trial court’s ruling (Frank Gallardo, et al. v. AIG Domestic Claims, Inc., et al., No. 13-56358, 9th Cir.; 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 18776).
