Mealey's (March 26, 2019, 1:44 PM EDT) -- ANN ARBOR, Mich. — One of the state defendants in the lead-contaminated water crisis lawsuit in the city of Flint, Mich. on March 22 filed a brief in Michigan federal court contending that the claims against him should be dismissed because the claims are barred by the statute of limitations (In re Flint Water Cases [Luke Waid, et al. v.
