9th Circuit Panel Vacates Rulings In 7-Eleven Franchisees’ Appeals Over Wages

Mealey's (March 4, 2019, 9:34 AM EST) -- PASADENA, Calif. — A Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on Feb. 27 issued a memorandum vacating a trial court’s decisions in a wage dispute between 7-Eleven Inc. franchisees and the franchisor as well as a dispute over a franchise renewal agreement requiring the franchisees to drop their wage claims and remanded, noting that no petitions for rehearing will be entertained (Serge Haitayan, et al. v. 7-Eleven, Inc., Nos. 18-55462, 18-55910 and 18-56346, 9th Cir., 2019 U.S. App. LEXIS 5891)....
