Asbestos-Talc Trial Asks Jury To Decide: Bad Science Or Bad Corporate Behavior

(February 27, 2019, 1:42 PM EST) -- NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Plaintiffs’ counsel on Feb. 25 told a New Jersey jury that Johnson & Johnson avoided finding asbestos in its talc by tipping the scales in its favor and redefining what constituted asbestos, essentially playing Russian roulette with consumers.  But the same day, the company’s lawyers told the jury that things are not always as easy as they seem and that the plaintiffs oversimplify bad science (Ricardo & Pilar Rimondi v.
