Florida Appeals Court: Teva Jurisdiction Arguments Need Evidentiary Hearing

(October 28, 2015, 1:17 PM EDT) -- LAKELAND, Fla. — A Florida appeals court on Oct. 16 said a trial court must conduct an evidentiary hearing on whether Israeli-based Teva Industries should be dismissed from a contaminated propofol case for lack of personal jurisdiction (Teva Pharmaceutical Industries v. Frances Ruiz, et al., No. 2D14-4462, Fla. App., 2nd Dist.; 2015 Fla. App. LEXIS 15348).
