Mealey's (October 28, 2015, 11:05 AM EDT) -- KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Missouri federal judge on Oct. 19 denied a homeowners insurer’s motion for summary judgment in insureds’ lawsuit alleging that the insurer unlawfully applied a policy’s $1,000 deductible to an actual cash value payment in a hailstorm coverage dispute (Eric Lafollette v. Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co., No. 14-04147, W.D. Mo.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 141633).
