EPA: Fort Lincoln Retail To Pay $99,000 For Clean Water Act Violations

(October 27, 2015, 12:11 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced Oct. 15 that Fort Lincoln Retail LLC agreed to pay $99,000 to resolve claims that it violated the Clean Water Act (CWA) when allowing storm water runoff from a construction site in Washington to enter the city’s storm sewer system and, ultimately, the Anacostia River.
