Bill Cosby’s Motion To Dismiss Is ‘Bizarre,’ ‘Possibly Unique,’ Insurer Argues

(October 9, 2015, 4:40 PM EDT) -- SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — William Cosby Jr.’s homeowners and excess insurer on Sept. 28 opposed the actor’s motion to dismiss or stay its lawsuit disputing coverage for underlying defamation claims stemming from his alleged sexual misconduct, arguing that his “motion to dismiss is bizarre and possibly unique in the entire history of American jurisprudence” (AIG Property Casualty Co. v. Tamara Green, et al., No. 15-30111, D. Mass.).
