(October 9, 2015, 12:06 PM EDT) -- BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — A disability insurer’s denial of short-term disability (STD) benefits was not reasonable based on the evidence submitted by the claimant and his treating physicians, an Alabama federal magistrate judge said Oct. 6 in partially granting the claimant’s motion for summary judgment (Antonio Campbell v. United of Omaha Life Insurance Co., et al., No. 14-623, N.D. Ala.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 136024).
