Federal Judge Remands NFL MRSA Case To Florida State Court

(October 9, 2015, 10:30 AM EDT) -- TAMPA, Fla. — A federal judge in Florida on Sept. 24 remanded the case of a former National Football League placekicker who contracted a career-ending bacterial infection at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training facility to state court, saying the suit had nothing to do with the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement (CBA) as defense attorneys had argued in removing the case to federal court.
