U.S. House Passes Bill Defining ‘Full-Time’ Employment For ACA As 40 Hours

Mealey's (June 16, 2015, 9:22 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. House legislation defining “full-time” employment for the purposes of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA)’s minimum essential coverage requirements as 40 hours per week passed on a 252-172 vote Jan. 8 and was referred to the U.S. Senate’s Finance Committee on Jan. 12.
