Report Faults Contracting, Oversight Of ACA Exchange Creation, Launch

Mealey's (June 16, 2015, 9:21 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C — The Center for Medicare Services failed to meet contracting and oversight requirements and failed to appoint a lead systems integrator necessary for the success of a large information technology project like the creation and launch of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) insurance exchange, according to a January 2015 Office of Inspector General report.
