Employee May Proceed With Gender Nonconformity Bias Claims Under Federal Laws

(September 26, 2018, 2:09 PM EDT) -- SAVANNAH, Ga. — A Georgia federal judge on Sept. 25 trimmed the claims in an employee’s sexual orientation bias case that was appealed all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court and ruled that the plaintiff may proceed with gender bias claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 42 U.S. Code Section 1983 (Jameka K.
