(August 19, 2018, 7:29 PM EDT) -- FRANKFORT, Ky. — A trial court erred in denying two hospital system entities a directed verdict on conspiracy and joint venture claims in a patient’s lawsuit alleging that the pacemaker he was given was unnecessary, a Kentucky appeals court concluded Aug. 10, vacating a $6.2 million verdict to the patient and ordering a new trial (Catholic Health Initiatives, Inc., et al. v.
