Indiana Appeals Court Affirms Dismissal Of Claims Over Catheter Piece As Untimely

(July 23, 2018, 6:55 PM EDT) -- INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana’s two-year statute of limitations to bring a medical malpractice claim began running in 2013 when a plaintiff’s parents first learned of a foreign object that turned out to be part of a catheter lodged near his heart, the Indiana Court of Appeals held July 16.  It affirmed a trial court’s conclusion that his claims filed in 2017 were time-barred (Eric Musselman v.
