Pennsylvania Appeals Court Revives Survivor Claims In Action Over Bedsores

(July 23, 2018, 6:47 PM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — A Pennsylvania appeals court on July 17 affirmed in part and reversed in part a trial court’s ruling dismissing an estate administrator’s wrongful death and survival claims alleging that two health systems’ negligent treatment of the decedent’s bed sores led to his death.  The appeals court reversed the lower court’s holding that the survival claim was untimely filed (Denise R.
