Judge Enjoins Pre-Hobby Lobby Birth-Control Mandate

Mealey's (June 15, 2015, 3:48 PM EDT) -- DENVER — A federal judge in Colorado on Jan. 27 granted a joint stipulation barring implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) contraceptive mandate as it existed at the time of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby opinion (Stephen W. Briscoe, et al. v. Sylvia Burwell, et al., No. 13-285, D. Colo.).
