Kentucky High Court Reinstates Class Certification In Truck Drivers’ Wage Suit

(July 3, 2018, 1:51 PM EDT) -- FRANKFORT, Ky. — A unanimous Kentucky Supreme Court on June 14 reversed a Court of Appeals decision and reinstated a class certification ruling by a trial court in a complaint by truck drivers seeking back pay and damages from their employer, ruling that class action is available to the drivers and there was no abuse of discretion by the trial court in certifying the class (Melvin Hensley, et al. v.
