Plaintiffs: New GM Liable For Acts, Omissions Regarding Faulty Ignition Switches

(September 25, 2015, 2:49 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A group of plaintiffs with connections to the faulty ignition switch litigation against the Motors Liquidation Co. (Old GM) on Sept. 18 filed a brief in New York federal court contending that New GM, which was formed out of the Chapter 11 bankruptcy of Old GM, can be sued for its own acts and omissions in light of its knowledge regarding the faulty ignition switches (In re: Motors Liquidation Company, No. 15-cv-4685, -5056, S.D.
