Judge Finds ACA Requires Vacating Sibling Income Injunction

Mealey's (June 15, 2015, 3:10 PM EDT) -- INDIANAPOLIS — The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) sufficiently changes Medicaid eligibility rules to vacate a 1986 injunction barring the inclusion of sibling household income into calculations, a federal judge in Indiana held Nov. 7, 2014 (Brenda Reed, et al. v. Debra Minott, et al., No. 85-1353, S.D. Ind.).
