Court Reveres Denial Of Motion To Compel Tobacco-Related Arbitration

LOUIS — A Missouri appeals court on Sept. 22 reversed a trial court's ruling in which it refused to compel arbitration between the State of Missouri and tobacco product manufacturers, finding that the parties agreed to arbitrate disputes, among other decisions (State of Missouri v. American Tobacco Co., No. ED101542, Mo. App., Eastern. Dist.; 2015 Mo. App. LEXIS 942).
