Colorado Supreme Court Agrees To Hear Fracking Ban Lawsuit

(September 25, 2015, 10:22 AM EDT) -- DENVER — The Colorado Supreme Court on Sept. 21 granted certiorari to the City of Fort Collins, Colo., which contends that lower courts have improperly ruled that the city’s ban on hydraulic fracturing violated state law as well as Supreme Court precedent (City of Fort Collins, Colorado v. Colorado Oil and Gas Association, No. 15SC668, Colo. Sup.; 2015 Colo. LEXIS 923).
