Ohio Appeals Court Finds Washing Machine’s Dangers Were Foreseeable
(May 16, 2018, 9:27 AM EDT) -- CINCINNATI — An Ohio appeals court panel on May 9 affirmed rulings awarding summary judgment to a washing machine manufacturer and a laundromat in a personal injury action, finding that the risks of injury resulting from attempting to remove something from the machine while the drum was still operating were foreseeable (Seth McLaughlin, et al. v. Andy’s Coin Laundries Inc., et al., No. C-170198, Ohio App., 1st Dist., 2018 Ohio App. LEXIS 2015).
