Judge Dismisses Some Claims In Radioactive Materials Case Against Exxon Mobil
(September 22, 2015, 1:56 PM EDT) -- NEW ORLEANS — The federal judge in Louisiana presiding over an injury case pertaining to naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM) as a result of Exxon Mobil’s oil and gas exploration activities on Sept. 17 lifted the stay in the case and granted a motion to dismiss some claims in light of a pending settlement between some of the parties (Warren Lester v. Exxon Mobil Corp., et al., No. 14-01824, E.D. La.).
