Ohio Appellate Panel: No Breach By Nursing Home After Resident Falls, Dies

(May 3, 2018, 11:07 AM EDT) -- CANTON, Ohio — An estate administrator failed to show that a nursing home accepted a resident while knowing it couldn’t provide her with the necessary level of care or that it breached its contract by failing to provide promised care that led to the resident’s fall and subsequent death, an Ohio appellate panel ruled April 20, upholding a trial court’s summary judgment ruling for the nursing home (Wanda L.
