Plaintiffs Want Washington Asbestos Autopsy Provision Amended

Mealey's (April 30, 2018, 2:49 PM EDT) -- SEATTLE — Based on what occurred at an April 27 hearing on a petition seeking to amend the rules governing autopsies in asbestos cases, it appears likely a Washington State judge will create two tracks: one for living parties who will be notified of the rule and can discuss it with counsel, and a second for those who die during the case’s pendency and for which defendants would have to demonstrate “good cause” for requesting the procedure, sources told Mealey Publications (In re: King County Asbestos Cases, Nos. 03-2-4855-5 SEA, 89-2-184-9 SEA, Wash.
