Senator: Review Needed In Securities Suit To Determine What Constitutes Puffery

(September 21, 2015, 11:37 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Review of a Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruling is necessary to cure a split among the circuits as to what constitutes inactionable puffery, a U.S. senator argues in a brief filed Aug. 19 as amicus curiae in support of a pension fund (Boca Raton Firefighters and Police Pension Fund v. Robert J. Bahash, et al., No. 15-88, U.S. Sup.).
