Mealey's (April 16, 2018, 1:45 PM EDT) -- WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A federal judge in Florida on April 13 dismissed without prejudice a complaint against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in which the plaintiff claimed that the agency violated the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) by allowing a cigarette company to advertise its cigarettes as natural because the plaintiff failed to establish causation and redressability (Justin Sproule v. United States Food and Drug Administration, et al., No. 9:17-cv-80709, S.D. Fla., 2018 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 62507).
