Mealey's (April 10, 2018, 1:06 PM EDT) -- EL PASO, Texas — A federal judge in Texas on April 9 granted Union Pacific Railroad Co.’s (UPRR) motion for partial summary judgment, finding that sufficient evidence exists showing that the parent company of Oglebay Norton Minerals Inc. (OMNI) was the operator of a former processing site for the purpose of liability under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) (Union Pacific Railroad Company v.
