Official, Government Battle Over Injunction During Individual Mandate Appeal

Mealey's (June 15, 2015, 1:45 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A Pennsylvania elected official and the U.S. government briefed a federal appeals court in the District of Columbia over whether it should enjoin fines while the official challenges the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) individual mandate. The official filed his reply brief Nov. 20, 2014 (Jeffrey Cutler v. United States Department of Health and Human Services, et al., No. 14-5183, D.C. Cir.).
