Board: Canadian Ministry Wrongly Granted License To Fracking Company
(September 17, 2015, 8:35 AM EDT) -- VICTORIA, British Columbia — The British Columbia Environmental Appeals Board (EAB) on Sept. 3 ruled that the Ministry of Forests, Land and Natural Resource Operations should not have granted a conditional water license (CWL) to a hydraulic fracturing company due to flaws in the application process (Chief Sharleen Gale, individually and on behalf of the Fort Nelson First Nation v. Assistant Regional Water Manager, et al., No. 2012-WAT-013[c], EAB B.C.).
