Panel Reverses; Residents Did Not Show Fracking Well Was A Threat To Safety

(September 16, 2015, 2:21 PM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — A panel in the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court on Sept. 14 reversed a trial court’s ruling and concluded that residents who appealed a township board’s decision to grant a hydraulic fracturing company a permit failed to offer “probative evidence” that showed that the proposed fracking well was a danger to health and safety (Brian Gorsline, et al. v.
