Injunctive Relief Granted Against Most Defendants In Trade Secrets Suit

Mealey's (February 28, 2018, 1:38 PM EST) -- DENVER — A federal judge in Colorado on Feb. 26 granted in part an insurer’s motion for temporary restraining order against seven former employees alleged to have removed the insurer’s confidential and trade secret information from the company before resigning and using that information to persuade policyholders to cancel their insurance policies, ruling that the insurer has properly shown that such relief is warranted against all but one of the defendants (Bankers Life & Casualty Co. v. Robert Laycock, et al., No. 18-0459, D. Colo., 2017 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 30437)....
