Split Ohio Supreme Court: Groups Lack Standing To Challenge Fracking Orders

(February 16, 2018, 1:50 PM EST) -- COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Supreme Court on Feb. 14 released a ruling in which the divided court found that environmental groups did not demonstrate that their individual members would have standing in their own right to challenge orders pertaining to hydraulic fracturing issued by officials with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) and, therefore, the groups themselves lacked standing.  The opinion, reached Jan. 24, was delayed subsequent to the resignation of Justice William M.
