LOUIS, Ill. — A federal judge in Illinois on Feb. 12 granted a pipeline construction company’s motion for a preliminary injunction against a former employee alleged to have misappropriated the company’s trade secrets, enforcing the terms of the former employee’s 12-month restrictive covenant in his employment agreement and allowing for the company to conduct a forensic examination of his computers, data storage devices and iCloud account (Foltz Welding Ltd. v.
