Judge OKs $205,000 Deal Between Family And Chevron For Perchloroethylene Exposure

Mealey's (September 14, 2015, 7:17 AM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge in California on Aug. 31 granted a motion approving a $205,000 settlement between Chevron USA Inc. and other defendants and a family that contended that they had been injured as a result of the defendants’ use of perchloroethylene (PCE) and other hazardous materials at a site that had been a gas station (Ryan Schaeffer v. Gregory Village Partners LP, No. 13-04358, N.D. Calif.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 115739).
