Florida Jury Awards $40.9 Million In Tobacco Lawsuit
(February 6, 2018, 1:27 PM EST) -- FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A Florida jury on Feb. 5 awarded the family of a former smoker $27 million in punitive damages in an Engle progeny suit, bringing the total amount of damages to $40.9 million (Dawn Schlefstein v.
