D.C. Circuit Stays Argument, En Banc Review In ACA Subsidy Challenge

Mealey's (June 15, 2015, 1:03 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The District of Columbia Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Nov. 12, 2014, stayed oral arguments and en banc review of a ruling that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) bars subsidies for individuals enrolling in insurance through the federal exchange. The action followed the plaintiffs’ Nov. 10, 2014, motion seeking a stay in light of the Supreme Court’s grant of certiorari in King v. Burwell (No. 14-114, U.S. Sup.) (Jacqueline Halbig, et al. v.
