Pulse Opposes U.S. Supreme Court Review Of Enhanced Damages In Patent Dispute

Mealey's (September 11, 2015, 11:25 AM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Pulse Electronics argues in an Aug. 24 opposition brief to the U.S. Supreme Court that it should not re-evaluate enhanced damages in a patent infringement case while Halo Electronics Inc. asserts that the high court should focus on the willfulness standard used to find that Pulse did not willfully infringe three transformer patents (Halo Electronics Inc. v. Pulse Electronics Inc. and Pulse Electronics Corp., No. 14-1513 & 15-121, U.S. Sup.).
