6th Circuit Briefed On Stay Of Mandate In ACA Contraceptive Case

Mealey's (June 15, 2015, 12:47 PM EDT) -- GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) religious objectors denied injunctive relief from the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals recently asked it to stay its mandate pending the filing of a writ of certiorari (Michigan Catholic Conference, et al. v. Kathleen Sebelius, et al., No. 13-2723, The Catholic Diocese of Nashville, et al. v. Kathleen Sebelius, et al., Nos. 13-2723, 13-6640, 6th Cir.).
