Georgia Federal Judge Denies Clean Water Rule Injunction, Defers To Appeals Court

Mealey's (September 9, 2015, 11:50 AM EDT) -- BRUNSWICK, Ga. — A Georgia federal judge on Aug. 27 denied an injunction against the Clean Water Rule, finding that jurisdiction over the issue lies with a federal appeals court (State of Georgia, et al. v. Gina A. McCarthy, et al., No. 15-79, S.D. Ga.).
