Fracking Groups’ Request For BLM Rule Injunction Should Be Denied, Groups Say

(December 8, 2017, 2:49 PM EST) -- CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A collection of environmental advocacy groups on Nov. 29 filed a brief in Wyoming federal court contending that that the court should reject a motion for preliminary injunction filed by two hydraulic fracturing industry trade groups because it is a “bid for a second bite at the preliminary injunction apple” in an attempt to prevent the implementation of the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) final rule on fracking waste, royalties and resource conservation (State of Wyoming, et al. v.
