(December 7, 2017, 8:18 AM EST) -- MADISON, Wis. — A federal judge in Wisconsin on Nov. 9 partially granted and partially denied a motion for summary judgment in a dispute over a contract for land on which the parties had initially planned to operate a facility for extracting sand used in hydraulic fracturing operations, concluding that the plaintiff’s breach of contract claims against the company that was supposed to obtain the land in question failed.
