Mealey's (October 31, 2017, 3:15 PM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A California appeals court on Oct. 11 affirmed a trial court’s decision to grant demurrers filed by two lenders as to various claims asserted against them, including a cause of action for wrongful foreclosure, but reversed a decision as to a borrower’s claim for violation of California’s unfair competition law (UCL), finding sufficient allegations to support the claim (Gary Henriksen v.
