N.Y. Justice Refuses To Dismiss Professional Liability Coverage Dispute

(September 2, 2015, 12:11 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A New York justice on Aug. 12 denied a doctor insured’s motion to dismiss a professional liability insurer’s lawsuit seeking reimbursement for the $115,556.85 it paid in defending the doctor in an underlying malpractice action (Medical Malpractice Insurance Pool of New York State v. Barbara Gordon, No. 154079/2014, N.Y. Sup.; 2015 N.Y. Misc. LEXIS 2936).
